150 years of Maxwell’s Equations – What Have They Produced?
27 May 2015 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
FreeIn this year of light, and the 150th anniversary of the publication of the full version of Maxwell’s Equations (in 1865), it is worth considering what benefit knowledge of these equations has brought to people and to society.
Arguably Maxwell’s Equations unified existing knowledge regarding electro-statics, and magnetism, together with a key novel prediction, that of electro-magnetic (EM) waves.
The Lecture is presented by Mr Ron Lyon and Mr John Barr.
