A beginner’s guide to APM – but not just for beginners

Whether you’re a fully fledged member of the APM with awards and qualifications to your name, or a new or aspiring member just starting out in your project management career and wanting to know more about what is on offer; either way there are always questions, queries and information which could confuse and mislead the process.

This session seeks to offer information and promote discussion on what the APM has to offer to the wider project management community. This event will support both veteran members with their own teams whom they intend to develop in line with the APM qualification structure as well as newcomers to the APM who may be confused by the routes available for membership or unsure which qualification would best suit their level of knowledge and expertise. The session will also provide specific guidance on RPP (Registered Project Professional), the standard which is due to become the recognised chartered professional standard.

We hope to demystify the process and offer a clear, defined and pragmatic approach to all of the above.
This event will be hosted by the APM Aberdeen chapter committee which comprises members at different levels their career, as well as support from the APM head office team.

Furthermore Neil Harkin, from local training provider, 20|20 Business Insight, will also outline the various stages of qualifications, in an attempt to clarify the options which exist.

Attendees at APM events are entitled to use a promotional code (issued after the event) which will waive the registration fee (£109.00) when applying for membership. Furthermore student members are not required to pay a registration fee.
