A case study in approaches to achieve Decarbonisation in the Manufacture of Pharmaceutical products
4 June 2024 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
This Event has been organised by the Decarbonising Heating and Cooling Working Group and the Pharmaceutical Technical Activity Committee of the of the IMechE Process Industries Division and promoted across the Division, the Centres in the North West and Yorkshire Regions , the Aberdeen Area, the North East Region and the Midlands, all part of the Process Industries Community
Decarbonisation in the pharmaceutical Industry is a crucial part of a global effort to mitigate climate change and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Pharmaceutical manufacture is energy intensive and needs to find inspiring, innovative ways to achieve reduction in the resources it uses.
In this webinar, a case study example will be presented and discussed in what options were considered to achieve Carbon net zero by 2025 and will describe the technical solution in high temperature heat pumps and associated infrastructure that has been installed
