4 September 2023 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm
How can we reconcile sustainable living with our modern lifestyle?
How can we reconcile sustainable living with our modern lifestyle?
What changes could we make to achieve Net Zero here in Scotland?
Meeting Net Zero by 2045 requires the consideration of new approaches, interdisciplinary collaboration, and innovative thinking.
This hands-on workshop will take on the challenge of designing a sustainable commuter town in Edinburgh. Get involved with designing and building a prototype and be a part of using a Human Centred Design approach to engage with the Net Zero challenge.
Human Centred Design (HCD) is a framework that helps find innovative and sustainable solutions to problems. It can be used to help impacted communities understand their needs and develop new propositions based on participatory activities – from field research and insight generation to ideation, prototyping, and testing. Join in with proto-type building, and learn about this approach whilst imagining your ideal future for sustainable urban living.
