Advanced Forming Research Centre, University of Strathclyde visit

FreeVisit a leading excellent research facility supporting fundamental and applied research, enabling the development of forming and forging technologies to support the design and manufacture of products from our world leading industrial partners.
The Advanced Forming Research Centre is located in a bespoke 5,400 m2 building sited at Inchinnan, Renfrewshire, near Glasgow. The facility contains industrial scale manufacturing equipment, enabling the research team to develop new technologies and approaches that are highly relevant to industry. The AFRC can heat, shape, finish, measure, test and analyse metal parts and components all in-house.
The site tour will be followed by a debate style question and answer session, featuring knowledgeable people in the industry and academia.
