Advances in Subsea Engineering, Structures & Systems
4 June 2018 - 5 June 2018
For years the global oil and gas industry has been following the norm of having a top side structure and simple infrastructure at subsea. Today the industry is continually developing to help companies successfully operate at a subsea level with advances aimed at driving down capital costs, optimising production and take advantage of opportunities in the deep water . With all this international focus on advancing subsea, it is important that the technology matches the ambition and opportunity available. The practice of working in a subsea environment is certainly not a new one. As long as there has been offshore structures, there has been a need to operate at a subsea level. Large players such as Norway, Brazil and the UK are continually placing a focus on deep water research and as a result of this strong growth is expected over the next few years. The UK alone holds 45% of the global market share, and if companies wish to maintain such a hold on the market, it is important to increase engagement between industry and academia to meet the increasingly complex and competitive technology advances, and drive R&D across the industry.
ASESS 2018 presents the perfect opportunity for you to do so, as it aims to provide an ideal platform for industry leading researchers, technology developers, industrial players and supply chain partners to converge. It also aims to promote the methodologies, exchange of ideas, procedures, and research in the area of subsea for Offshore Oil & Gas.
