Ageing Infrastructure & Advancing Technology

Are you a graduate or student member of ICE? Then save the date for this weekend full of inspiring lectures and networking at the Stirling Conference 2017.

The weekend promises to deliver a varied insight into the world of civil engineering, with speakers from industry. This event is also an excellent opportunity to network with others at a similar career stage, and contributes to two days of CPD.

The main focus of the conference is to review past engineering practices and to discuss advancing technology in this field. The format of the conference will consist of:

  • A series of Saturday lectures discussing examples of cutting edge technology in the engineering industry and how we are ensuring long life for the ageing infrastructure.
  • Sunday team challenge to be announced on the day.

The following topics are to be discussed at the conference:

  1. How daily life of an engineer has changed over the last few decades and what we have learnt from this.
  2. How advances in technologies are helping engineers and contractors to deliver projects.
  3. How we manage ageing infrastructure to ensure continuity to society.

£330 including VAT per Delegate including accommodation and meals at the Stirling Court Hotel. Also includes a formal three course meal on the Saturday evening (business attire for this dinner).
