AGM followed by presentation about the Edinburgh Trams

FreeAGM followed by a presentation about the Edinburgh Trams.
The presentation will cover the development of the project from inception through a testing construction phase and into successful operations, which commenced on 31st May 2014.
Alasdair Sim is an engineer and project manager of some 24 years experience specialising in the field of traffic/transportation modelling and transportation engineering. Graduating from Napier University in 1991 with B.Eng (Hons) in Civil and Transportation Engineering, Alasdair has enjoyed a varied career to date, and has been involved in a wide and diverse range of projects ranging from relatively small scale public transport and infrastructure schemes, traffic impact assessments, through to multi million pound projects including the Upper Kincardine Crossing, the M77 motorway extension, the delivery of three major DBFO Toll Roads in South Africa, and latterly the Edinburgh Trams. Alasdair worked in both the public and private sector, and is currently Interface Manager in the City of Edinburgh Council Tram Team.
