Annual Construction Lunch

The committee is delighted to confirm that our guest speaker for this year’s event will be
Des McLean, Des is a multi-award-winning stand-up comedian, actor, radio & television
presenter. Born in Blackhill, Glasgow, he has toured the UK, Canada, Australia & New
Zealand and has recently returned from performing in Las Vegas. We can look forward to
being entertained by the man Billy Connolly cited as his favourite comedian.
As with previous years, we are expecting a high demand for places, so to avoid
disappointment please contact Pamela Morris.
Once confirmation has been received, menu details and wine lists will be sent out together
with an invoice.
The lunch is now firmly fixed in our events calendar, and we are pleased to advise the price
per person is £70.00 (inclusive of VAT). All members, supporters and friends of the Concrete
Society are very welcome at this informal event. The dress code is Lounge Suits.
Exclusive tables will be available for parties of 8 or more. Smaller parties will be most
welcome.
