APM Scotland Network: How to use Risk Management effectively to improve the odds
20 March @ 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Risk Management is crucial to project success. By proactively managing risks, project teams can make informed decisions, allocate resources effectively, and enhance stakeholder confidence, ultimately increasing the chances of achieving project objectives.
Chris Bird will look at WHY we need to improve in relation to decision and risk management, HOW we can improve future success with robust framing, alternative solution prioritisation and scenario planning, and WHAT we need to focus on to improve project performance.
Paul Foy will take you through the process of CSRA (Cost and Schedule Risk Analysis) at a very high level. He will then be asking the question ‘Now we’ve done the analysis, what do we do with the results?’
Andy Sutherland will provide a recap of Risk Management principles and discuss the key features of Risk Management tools before providing hints and tips on holding more engaging risk workshops.
Finally, a panel Q&A session will be held followed by networking.
