BIM/Building Orientated Lighting Design

The SLL and CIBSE Scotland are delighted to welcome Friedrich Bremecker of DIAL, who will be presenting on BIM/Building Orientated Design utilising DIALux evo.
DIAL has been released the first Lighting Design Software with an open BIM / IFC interface. Lighting design has been room orientated in the past. BIM is now changing the design world, including the lighting design, including lighting design. Modern architecture is transparent and open, spaces include different visual tasks to be carried out and during the day these tasks may change. Modern lighting design includes control systems to achieve good lighting for different purposes and f course to reduce the energy used for lighting.
DIALux evo, the BIM orientated design software support the designer in doing an integral lighting layout.
This technical meeting is design to aid lighting designers, architects, interior designers, contractors, project managers, energy managers and academics.
