Brodick Harbour redevelopment

The £22.2 redevelopment of the ferry terminal at Brodick on the Isle of Arran provides lifeline ferry services and supports the economic development of Arran creating a 21st Century facility which is sustainable, reliable and efficient to operate and maintain.

Caledonian Maritime Assets Limited appointed George Leslie Limited as Principal Contractor for the redevelopment and works were completed in August 2107, as scheduled.

The scheme proposes to enhance the island economy, boost passenger capacity, and sustainably replace ageing infrastructure. The new terminal will support additional sailings and larger vessels to berth in a wide range of weather conditions. The facilities which are partially constructed on reclaimed land comprise a 120m long pier, a new linkspan and fixed berth, a new terminal building with passenger access system, improved marshalling facilities, a new bus terminal and parking facilities.
