The School of Engineering at the University of Aberdeen has established The RV JONES Lecture Series, named in honour of Professor RV Jones, one of the University’s most distinguished academics in the area of applied physics and engineering. This is the eighth RV JONES Lecture.

Professor Sankaran Sundaresan, Professor of Chemical and Biological Engineering, Princeton, is a fellow of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. Currently he serves on the Executive Committee of the Carbon Capture Simulation Initiative of the US Department of Energy.
