Electrified vehicles – The challenges and opportunities of the supply chain

The Advanced Propulsion Centre (APC) is a joint venture between
UK Government and the automotive industry. Their job is to ensure
that the UK remains competitive in the research, development and
production of low carbon propulsion technologies. The APC
facilitate funding, provide expertise and enable collaboration to
create the technologies for a cleaner automotive future.

The talk will address the various challenges in meeting the demand
for electrified vehicles and explain the opportunities which lie
ahead in the supply chain, within APC’s commitment to
competitive research, development and production of low carbon
propulsion technologies.

The speaker, Philippa Oldham, is Head of National Network
Programmes at the APC. She is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer
and was previously Head of Transport and Manufacturing at the
Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
