Enabling technology for children with disabilities

This talk will be of interest to anyone with an interest in assistive technology for people with disabilities.
CALL Scotland is a research and service unit located in the University of Edinburgh. CALL is funded primarily by Scottish Government and works with assistive technology for children and young people with disabilities or additional support needs. CALL provides information and advice, web sites, assessment and support for individual learners, loan of equipment for evaluation, and carries out research and development projects.
This talk will be given by Paul Nisbet and focus on the engineering aspects of CALL Scotland, covering the types of technology used and how assistive technology has developed since CALL was founded in 1983.
