Forth River Crossing Project Site Visit

9 August 2016 @ 12:30 pm - 5:00 pm

Free

The Queensferry Crossing is due to open in 2016. The 1.7 miles (2.7km) structure will be the longest three-tower, cable-stayed bridge in the world and also by far the largest to feature cables which cross mid-span.

Join the Institute of Water Scottish Area on 9 August to take an in depth look at the construction of the Queensferry Crossing with an opportunity to hear from project engineers in detail about various aspects of the construction of the Queensferry Crossing and its connecting roads at the New Forth Cross in Edinburgh.

No Personal Protective Equipment is required and our visit starts and ends at the dedicated Contact and Education Centre.
