Health & Safety in welding – Consumables & Products developed to reduce the risk for welders & operators coming from welding fume

This is a joint Scottish Branch event organised and run for the benefit of members. Members and non-members are welcome to join us.
Overview: In this talk, global experts Aleksandar Sarić and Filippo Campaci from Voestalpine Bohler will consider the development of consumables and associated products that have been developed to reduce the risk of welding fume for welders and operators.

Speaker Biographies:
Aleksandar Sarić has a degree in material science and welding from Graz University of Technology in Austria, completing his diploma in 2014. Since 2014, Aleksander has become a specialist in global welding technology and is based in Kapfenberg in Austria.
Filippo Campaci is an International Welding Engineer and Global Product Manager for Flux-Cored wires with voestalpine Bohler Welding. Filippo has a degree in Chemistry and 25 years experience in the welding business covering different positions as R&D manager for Flux-Cored wires, Application Engineer and for the last 6 years covering the global position of product management for Flux-Cored wires.
