Improving the Reliability of Power Plants using a Power Management System

17 October 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

This presentation is based on project experience gained by the speaker during his working life in improving the reliability of independent water, steam and power generation plants, offshore power plants etc. Especially for those installations exporting utilities to critical process plants, a reliable operation is a must to avoid incurring huge commercial and reputation damage. We believe in addition to implementing good design and operational procedures, a modern power management system could go a long way In making the plants even more reliable. The presentation will focus on factors compromising plant reliability and minimising these risks using a modern power management system.

The presentation is relevant to all engineering disciplines.
