Join Glasgow’s civil engineers to learn about the beautiful bridges along the River Kelvin, which connect the city and tell the story of Glasgow’s rapid industrial and commercial development in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Meet the women engineers behind the city’s infrastructure on International Women in Engineering Day.

Explore engineering is your chance to discover civil engineering in your area. Our walks, tours and trail are guided by experts and will help you understand how civil engineers have transformed our environment. This walk is aimed at the general public.
