Meet the new IET President

Naomi Climer officially became President of the IET on 1st October 2015, the first woman to do so in its 144-year history. Naomi’s first official engagement as President was in India where she was attending the IET South Asia Community Volunteer conference to meet volunteers and members, as well as taking part in a Women in Engineering panel discussion. Diversity is an issue that Naomi has a strong interest in and she is also keen to continue promoting engineering as a creative, exciting and diverse career during her term in office.

Naomi will be answering questions and discussing her plans for her year as President and would like to hear from you if you’ve got a question.
