Powering the world: Electricity and Engineering

FreeThe story of how electrical power is generated and transmitted to where it is needed will be told through an hour long vibrant presentation, including experiments, by a team from the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering of the University of Strathclyde. The lecture will introduce the basic concepts of power engineering taking concepts taught in the science classroom into the real, and challenging world, of electrical power engineering.
