BCSWomen and Scotland Women in Technology are delighted to invite you to a panel discussion on this year’s International Women’s Day theme, “Press for Progress”, with an inspiring group of women representing some of the Scotland Women in Technology Awards 2017 finalists.
Our speakers will include Talat Yaqoob from Equate, Jude McCorry from The Data Lab, and Ilana Munckton from Skyscanner. Each of our speakers will give us a short talk about themselves, and their take on #PressForProgress, and we’ll follow with a panel discussion led by Sharon Moore. The event will also be hosted by Employer of the Year finalist, Sopra Steria. As always, this event is open to everyone.

Featuring
Talat Yaqoob – Talat is the Director of Equate Scotland. She has a background in public affairs, campaigning, social research and training and development across equalities issues.
Jude McCorry – Jude is director of business development at The Data Lab in Scotland, where she is responsible for delivering collaborative data science projects between industry and academia.
Ilana Munckton – Ilana is Director, Growth at Skyscanner, working with a global team of growth marketing specialists.
