Scottish Branch 71st Annual Dinner

Join us for a night of celebration and collaboration at the 71st Annual Dinner of the Institute for Marine, Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST) in Glasgow on February 28th. Hosted by the Scottish branch, this milestone event will bring together over 250 marine industry professionals, showcasing the institute’s dedication to advancing marine engineering, science, and technology.

Chaired by Professor Gerasimos Theotokatos, the head of the Maritime Safety Research Centre at the University of Strathclyde, this year’s dinner promises to be a highlight on the industry calendar.

The evening will feature as distinguished principal speaker Mr Kevin Hobbs (CEO at Caledonian Maritime Assets Limited (CMAL) and Chair of the Scottish Maritime Cluster), who will share insights and experiences commenting on the maritime industry future.

To enhance networking opportunities, the dinner provides a platform for professionals to connect, share best practices, and forge new collaborations.
