Smart Meters

Energy suppliers have the challenging task of installing up to fifty million gas and electricity smart meters by 2020.
Energy Suppliers and Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) will use information collected by smart meters to improve the services they provide to customers.  Fiona will discuss the smart meter programme from both a retailer and DNO point of view. She will outline the meter technologies, the communications requirements and how the data will be used.
