FreeThe IET, in partnership with other professional bodies (www.cpdc-hi.co.uk ) is running ‘thisLASScan’ on Wednesday 11 March, 7.00 to 8.30 pm at the Kingsmills Hotel, Inverness.
The event will include questions to a panel and then questions from the audience. The panel will consist of females who work in a wide cross section of engineering and technology, from recent starters to experienced engineers. In keeping with the Highlands reach, the panel members all live and work in the Highlands.
The main theme of the event is to: inspire, enthuse, encourage females to take up a career in engineering and technology. And the purpose is to inspire, enthuse and encourage key influencers (pre-school, primary school, secondary school staff, parents and employers.) to do all they can to build aspiration and broaden career horizons.
