Understanding Admixtures

29 February @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

The Concrete Society Scotland Region is pleased to announce our rescheduled seminar, an
appreciation of admixtures and their uses in concrete.
Admixtures are a vital component of modern concrete production and are added to
achieve or modify its properties. The common types of admixtures will be the subject of
the presentation by Rob Travis-Anderson, Product Engineer, Sika UK. A small practical
demonstration in the training centres laboratory will allow attendees to see how effective
these chemicals can be.
Please note, attendance is free and car parking is available on site.
