Visit to Edinburgh University Formula Student

6 February 2019 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Come to find out how Formula Student is helping shape tomorrow’s leaders and engineers. EUFS will show what goes behind designing racing cars, electric powertrains and how an autonomous car can learn to drive itself. The event will consist of a presentation and a tour of the team’s workshop.

EUFS’s main aim is to allow students to apply their classroom knowledge to a real, practical and inter-disciplinary project, obtaining technical experience and interpersonal skills along the way.

Running for four years now, the student team has engaged with more than 400 students. Their challenge is to design, manufacture and build racing cars each year and take them to competitions against other universities from around the globe. EUFS has fully built three racing cars.
