Visit to the Museum of Communication – Burntisland

6 March @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

The visit has been organised by the South East Scotland Afternoon Meetings and Events team (SESAME).

The visit will comprise a short presentation on the activities of the Museum followed by a visit to the exhibition store, radio room and exhibition area. The Museum houses a wide range of domestic and non-domestic equipment tracing the development of communications from the earliest era to the present day. This includes television, radio, audio and ICT equipment.

A pre-visit lunch has been arranged for 12 noon at the Kingswood Hotel, near Burntisland. Attending the lunch will provide an opportunity to socialise with other attendees and members of the SESAME committee. See Registration section for details.
