Visit to the University of Strathclyde’s New Centre for Sport

The building is a steel framed structure with piled foundations and concrete retaining walls. The site is on a steep slope in a busy city centre location which created many site constraints which will be evident on the visit. The visit will be of particular interest and relevance to student and graduate engineers who want to improve their knowledge of construction on city centre sites. The visit will be managed by Graham Construction’s site staff who will also give the required site induction.
