Working in the Falkland Islands

The Falkland Islands area has been considered as having significant potential for oil reserves and various feasibility studies and development projects have been under way for some time. Andy Martin, a consultant with Arch Henderson LLP in Aberdeen, will give a presentation about “Working in the Falkland Islands”.

He will provide an overview of the islands, a brief history, discuss the islands governance and industries and describe some of the civil engineering projects that Arch Henderson have been involve with in the last few years.

Speaker

Andy Martin is a Fellow of the ICE and a Consultant and former Partner with Arch Henderson LLP. Andy has extensive experience of harbour and marine projects as well as a wide range of other Civil Engineering disciplines.
