Training Course – Optimisation Methods and System Identification
This two day course provides an introduction to optimisation methods for use in practical applications. It covers both unconstrained and constrained optimisation methods and more advanced concepts such as dynamic optimisation and genetic algorithms. The lectures are reinforced by Hands-on simulation and design examples that provide practical experience of the concepts covered. The Optimisation is an extremely important subject used across all the Engineering fields. For control engineering applications it is widely used for optimal control and parameter identification/estimation.
