Professor Briggs will talk about the University’s partnerships with institutions in Africa and introduce the FemEng Team. He is Clerk of Senate and Vice-Principal at the University of Glasgow and has over 35 years’ experience of research in poverty reduction in Africa. The FemEng programme was established by a group of female engineering students at the University of Glasgow to work in collaboration with their counterparts at the University of Rwanda in Kigali to encourage schoolchildren to consider careers in science, engineering and entrepreneurship.…
